Data Retention Policy

We keep personal information only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, or as long as the law requires.

Retention periods

Enquiry correspondence that does not become an engagement: 12 months. Engagement records, deliverables and related correspondence: 7 years from completion, reflecting contractual limitation periods and professional record-keeping obligations. Website server logs: retained by our hosting provider on rolling short-term cycles.

Disposal

At the end of a retention period, records are deleted from active systems and purged from backups on the next backup rotation. Physical documents, where any exist, are destroyed securely.

Early deletion requests

You may ask us to delete personal information earlier; we will comply unless the record is needed for a legal obligation, a live engagement, or the defence of a legal claim, and we will tell you which applies.
